Tutoring at the Boys & Girls Club of Stamford

Kindred Heart partnered with The Boys & Girls Club of Stamford Yerwood Center to offer free tutoring services.

Thank you to all of our supporters , we couldn’t have done it without you and are excited to announce that we have donated Chromebooks to The Boys & Girls Club of Stamford - Yerwood Center and are also working with them to provide free tutoring services for elementary students. We want to stress the importance of access to technology for all students. It is not simply nice-to-have; it is a basic need.

Kindred Heart would like to thank everyone who performed and donated. We were blown away by the incredible musical talent in the room. The donations will go towards the funding of additional laptops for the kids at the Boys and Girls Club (Yerwood Center) in Stamford.

Kindred Heart Made a Donation to Waterbury Recreation Center

We are thankful for the opportunity Kindred Heart had in helping the Waterbury Community. After learning about the work and needs from Victor Cuevas, Supervisor of Recreation City of Waterbury, Kindred Heart donated Acer Chromebooks to the Waterbury North End Recreation Center. The work done by Victor Cuevas and his team is praiseworthy and commendable. We look forward to working with them again in the future.

Free Tutoring Service

Kindred Heart partnered with The Boys & Girls Club of Stamford Yerwood Center to offer free tutoring service for 1st to 6th grade students.

A few of our student volunteers went to the The Boys & Girls Club of Stamford Yerwood Center to spend a couple of hours with the kids they are tutoring.

Technology Makes a Difference

Technology can be a powerful tool for improving lives in underserved communities. At Kindred Heart, we have established a goal to provide technology such as laptops, iPads, and other peripherals to underserved communities and students in need. In addition to providing technology, Kindred Heart will also work with local organizations to participate in various charitable events and fundraising on top of providing services such as tutoring for kids in these underserved centers.
